SBDM 101

This facilitated and self-paced course fulfills the KDE requirement for six hours of training for newly elected SBDM council members.  At the end of the course, once all KDE requirements for the six hours of training are met, new SBDM members earn a certificate of completion for six hours of EILA credit.

The Spring course session is open from April 1, 2024, until June 21 2024. Completion by June 19, 2024 is recommended.

ATTENTION: If your SBDM course order will be paid by a school or district, please contact KET Professional Development (pd@ket.org) to provide your school or district’s tax-exempt certificate via email. Please contact KET PD before you place your order so that we can ensure that no taxes will be charged for your course.

Payment Methods: Credit cards and Kentucky school purchase orders
Purchase Orders: Make out to KET, 600 Cooper Drive, Lexington KY 40502, then email to pd@ket.org after submitting the order. Reference the invoice number in the email. Allow up to two business days to process.
Invoices: A PDF Invoice is emailed to the buyer immediately after the order is placed. If the learner places the order, then the learner receives the original invoice by email, as it is not mailed to the billing address.
Learner Enrollment: Buyers purchasing the course for someone else should select, “Check if someone other than yourself will take the course.” Once KET completes the order, the buyer will receive an email with a link to enroll the learner in the course.
Course Access: Once enrolled in the course, the learner receives emails containing their username, password, and the course website.
