Description

This self-paced course is a comprehensive look at mental health issues among students and young adults, updated with resources for the coronavirus pandemic. Topics include depression and anxiety, trauma and toxic stress, and mental health interventions. It teaches how to listen and to foster connections and a sense of safety to help students, both in-person and online. At the end of the course, K-12 educators earn a Certificate of Completion for one and a half hours of PD and EILA credit. This course is open from July 1 – June 30 each school year, with all coursework for that term to be completed by June 30th.

Course Access: Once enrolled in the course, the learner receives emails containing their username, password, and the access to course website.
