Learning for All: Inclusive and Equitable Facilitation

In this self-paced experience, explores the mindsets and practices for equitable, inclusive, and culturally responsive facilitation of the Ready to Learn PBS KIDS community engagement models. Participants will: examine the philosophy and structure of PBS playful learning models, reflect on your personal biases and learn strategies for disrupting biases and microaggressions that surface in community engagement spaces, analyze the layers of culture we all bring to our relationships with colleagues and communities and develop strategies for practicing cultural humility, examine examples of universal design. Upon completion of this course KET will not send a certificate to ECE-TRIS, you are responsible for submitting your certificate for credit.
